Backups are an essential part of online security. They require a bit of time, which explains why busy content creators sometimes neglect this task.
WPBlazer's scheduling tool simplifies backups so that you can focus on the really important work, like building your sites. With WPBlazer, you can set it and then forget it.
Opening the scheduling page
You can load and view backup schedules for multiple sites on a single admin dashboard. However, backup schedules are modified or created one site at a time. There is no bulk backup schedule option.
On the WPBlazer app dashboard, locate the site you want to open and click the Dashboard icon. A new page displays.
On the left menu, hover the mouse on the WordPress icon and then scroll down the menu. Click Schedule Backup. A new page displays.
Creating a backup schedule
On the scheduling page, click the Add Schedule button. A new page displays.
If you selected more than one site, you'll see the Select Sites panel. At the top of the Select Sites page, click the drop-down menu and then choose a site for the backup schedule. It's not possible to bulk schedule backups for multiple sites.
Scroll down to the New task options panel and fill in the fields.
Scroll down to the Backup Destination panel. Click the box and then select a location to send the backup zip folder.
After you select a destination, check the STATUS. It tells you if the WordPress site can access the selected destination. If a connection is not available, check the connection settings in your WPBlazer account.
Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to save changes. Click the List Schedule button at the top of the page to return to the scheduling page.
Editing a backup schedule
Locate the schedule you want to change and then click the Edit icon. A new page displays.
On the Edit Schedule Backup page, you can change:
- the site
- task options
- destination
Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to save changes. Click the List Schedule button at the top of the page to return to the scheduling page.
Deleting a backup schedule
To remove a scheduled backup, click the Delete icon and then click Yes in the confirmation popup box.
